Hamzy and Small Business Owners
HARTFORD — A roundtable discussion Monday organized by sentate Republicans for small business owners confirmed what Rep. Bill Hamzy has contended for months: Connecticut companies are burdened with taxes and regulations that makes it difficult to survive. About 45 owners and executives from small and medium-sized Connecticut businesses participated in the event, which focused on tax policy, health care reform, tort reform, regulatory reform, streamlining state government, and unfunded state mandates.
