Wood Helps at Darien Clean-Up
State Rep. Terrie Wood today participated in the Darien Land Trust Clean Up Day at Olsen Woods Bird Sanctuary at the end of Heather Lane. The members of Darien Land Trust are stewards of all Darien’s protected land. Most of these properties are small or need prior permission from our Executive Director to access them. The Darien Land Trust is pleased to provide open access to the public from dawn to dusk at Olson Woods at Heather Lane. This and other properties are used by different Darien groups such as the Boy Scouts, the Nature Center, the Senior Center and the Bio Blitz for walks and nature study. The Darien Land Trust encourages residents to use our properties for painting, walking, birding and the quiet enjoyment of nature.
